After the events described in 'Episode I', 10 years have passed. The galaxy is in turmoil. Thousands of star systems threaten to leave the Galactic Republic. A conflict is brewing, pre-planned by powerful but as-yet-unrevealed forces, leading to the start of the Clone Wars and the decline of the republic. To confront the threat of universal proportions, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine seeks to consolidate power in the Republic in his own hands and orders the creation of the Republic Army to support a small group of Jedi in their fight against the overwhelming enemy. At this turning point, fate brings Anakin and Padmé together again. They are forced to choose between their duty, honor and love, to which they have no right. And the choice they make will change not only their lives, but will be fateful for the entire Galaxy.
