The first days and even months of the Second World War were marked by a huge number of deaths. Why? Thus, in 1942, at the beginning of the war for the USA, Ernest Krause became the captain of the destroyer "Greyhound", which should accompany an international convoy of 37 ships in the North Atlantic. The man had never participated in military operations before, and here at once was a mission on which the outcome of the war almost depended.
