Soviet Carpathians. A small village, lost in the woods, near the mountain lake Synevyr. In the morning, secretly from their parents, the children - brother and sister, Sashko and Nastya - go fishing. They go to Lake Synevyr, the fishing is excellent, a bucket full of fish. Suddenly, a shout "Ow!" is heard in the forest.
