In the south of France in winter, a young woman is found frozen in a ditch. It turns out that she was a vagabond. With the help of flashbacks and short interviews, we follow the last weeks of her life: how she spends the night somewhere alone, meets various people who put all their hopes on her or, on the contrary, try to help her find her way in life.
