After the divorce, Ava comes to Niagara Falls with her friend, trying to start a new page of life and just escape from her own memories. But a chance encounter with Wyatt, an attractive and too-perfect stranger, quickly changes her sense of security. His attention seems sincere, and the rapprochement seems natural, but cracks gradually appear behind this ideal image: strange coincidences, indirect hints, the feeling that someone has known her life for a long time. When the romantic story begins to take on a disturbing tone, Ava realizes that trusting this man means risking everything, and escaping from the past may turn into a trap from which there is no easy way out.
