In a post-apocalyptic world, a pandemic has nearly wiped out humanity. Those who survive are forced to confront roving marauders known as Reapers. Gigg, a pilot who survived the virus but lost his wife, leads a lonely life in an airplane hangar in Colorado with his dog and a brooding partner. One day during the flight, he catches a mysterious radio transmission. This signal triggers a search for its source and forces the heroes to embark on a perilous journey.
