Writer Greg Russo comes to Ludlow College to bond with his daughter Katie and support her after her breakup with her husband. Conducting seminars, he learns that students perceive him as the embodiment of the hero of his novels - the brutal Rooster. Finding himself among carefree youth, Greg increasingly begins to behave like his own character.
