Tom was once on the verge of professional tennis glory, but now he lives an aimless life, settled in a hotel in the Canary Islands. His boring routine is interrupted when Anna appears - a mysterious tourist who came to the islands with her husband and child. The main character develops a connection with this woman who seems to have known him for a long time. However, their closeness turns into a trap for Tom: one day her husband goes missing, and when the police start a search, it turns out that Tom is the last person to see him.
