Young Gerda goes into the unknown in search of her friend Kai, who has mysteriously disappeared. During her journey, Gerda makes friends with birds, animals and a good witch. And she has no idea that the Snow Queen and her student are watching her. The Evil Queen holds Kai captive in her ice palace in the north. Together, Gerda and Kai escape from her clutches and return home for the most fun winter vacation ever.
