O Agente Secreto

Brazil in the 1970s is a dangerous place where a military dictatorship is raging. Scientist Marcelo unwittingly becomes a fugitive when he learns that a corrupt minister wants to take over his research. Escaping from hired killers, the man moves to the place of his birth. In this oceanfront city, he finds himself caught up in the chaos of a carnival, police brutality, and a mysterious resistance movement. His only goal is to reunite with his son and leave the country together.
