Куба і Аляска

The film tells the story of two Ukrainian servicewomen, best friends and witty paramedics called "Cuba" and "Alaska" on the front lines of the Russian-Ukrainian war, who are going through a story common to all soldiers: the longer they defend Ukraine, the more they lose touch with friends, family and their former lives. The film, which consists mostly of footage shot on phones and GoPro cameras attached to their helmets and chests, offers rare access to the daily lives of medics, their trust in each other, a testament to the brotherhood necessary to survive in this world.
