Red Sonya grew up in a world where barbarians destroyed villages, robbed and killed, and kings craved only power and gold. She knew no home, only a battlefield. Her childhood was stolen by war and betrayal, and her youth was consumed by the arena, where she fought for her life every day for the entertainment of the crowd and a cruel tyrant. In order to survive, she learned to strike first, and now neither people nor monsters can stop her. Sonia does not believe in prophets - she forges her own destiny.
