Violet is a widow and mother who decides to go on a date for the first time in a long time. In an expensive restaurant, she breathes a sigh of relief: her suitor Henry turns out to be even more attractive and charming than she expected. But the romantic atmosphere quickly turns to tension when anonymous messages start arriving on Violet's phone. At first they are just annoying, but very soon they turn into real terror.
