Julie loses her composer husband and their child in a car accident. Despite her desolation, she tries to start a new life away from her country house and potential lover. But music still surrounds her - she reveals unpleasant facts from her husband's life. Gradually, Juli learns to live again, because music and the gift of its creation turn out to be a healing force.
