A desperate businessman robs a bank and, hiding from the police, takes the patrons of the nearest cafe hostage. Among them - a harmful baker, an extravagant prostitute, a pensioner with a weak heart and an immigrant without documents. The robber begins negotiations with the police, but at the same time the cafe begins its own struggle for survival.
