The action of the film unfolds during one day - August 24, 2022, during the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's statehood. The film consists of places and people that well convey the spirit of the current wartime. The location of the film is both in relatively safe Kyiv and Lviv, and in Kharkiv and Mykolaiv, which are constantly affected by rocket attacks; both in a trench on the front line near Donetsk and on the sand of the Odesa beach. The film presents a day in the life of a "beach" police patrol, an operator of an anti-tank missile complex, a water carrier, a mortar operator, an attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a 14-year-old pub cleaner, an artist and a people's deputy. All these people and places create a fascinating mosaic of one day in the life of Ukraine.
