The story of Signe, a young girl from Oslo who works as a barista in a coffee shop. Her boyfriend is an up-and-coming contemporary artist (and kleptomaniac) who creates conceptual sculptures from scrapped furniture. Wherever they appear, the attention is always on him, and it drives Signe crazy. Then she embarks on a toxic and self-destructive struggle for popularity and status, trying to gain attention with a mysterious illness that disfigures her from the outside…and the inside.
