This is the story of an escapee from the Warsaw Ghetto, who works as a waiter in one of Frankfurt's fine restaurants. Being in the very center of hostile Germany, a Polish Jew pretends to be a Frenchman in order to take revenge on the Nazis and avoid causing them unnecessary suspicion.
