2014, Ukraine. The Russian-Ukrainian war continues. A young programmer Nazar, who does not want to fight, travels with his girlfriend across the country and stops to rest in a forest. In a dream, a Ukrainian warrior from the past who fought in this place, against various enemies, comes to him. A difficult conversation takes place between them, which throws our hero into the same past and forever changes the boy's future, where he will face a battle with a vile and powerful enemy. However, first Nazar is forced to defeat himself and make a choice: a pregnant wife who loves him or a country engulfed in the flames of war. Read more The film was shot in the Donetsk region in 2020, 20 kilometers from the temporarily occupied Donetsk, at separate combat positions of our defenders. In addition to professional actors, the film featured Ukrainian military personnel who at that time fought against the Russian occupiers and still continue to do so. The film uses real military equipment and weapons. The rest of the filming took place in Kyiv and Volyn. The author of the film is Mykhailo Uhman, Ukrainian producer, director, journalist, writer. Mykhailo fought as a volunteer in the town of Marynka and Pisky in Donetsk region. It was there that the idea for a film about cyborgs called "A Little Below the Sky" was born. A series of documentaries about Ukrainian defenders and the film itself – The Path of Generations. The film starred: Volodymyr Nikolayenko, Larisa Rusnak, Nazar Borushok, Oleksiy Palamarenko, Svitlana Matviishyn, Kostyantyn Afanasyev, Anastasia Nesterenko, Kira Podolska.
