Several years ago, Lucius witnessed the murder of Maximus at the hands of his uncle. Now he is forced to enter the Colosseum after his home has been destroyed by the tyrant emperors who now rule Rome. Since the future of the empire is at stake, Lucius must find the strength to forget the past and return Rome and its people to their former glory.
