Tara has just finished high school, her father and mother have been far from each other for a long time. Tara sees terrifying creatures that challenge her sanity. After visiting her aunt in a psychiatric hospital and spending the night at the house of her distant relative Lizzie Borden, Tara realizes that she is completely connected to a terrible curse that has haunted her family for almost a century.
