The film is about how, against the background of the war in Eastern Ukraine, which is hitting hard on families living near the front, a small group of strong-willed social workers work tirelessly in one special orphanage, creating a much-needed safe space for children to live in, while state authorities and courts decide the future fate of the child and family.
