Twenty-year-old seamstress Jade steals a bag in the Paris subway. When she evaluates her loot, she realizes that she has robbed a seamstress as simple as herself. Full of remorse, the girl goes to the woman's house to return her bag. She meets Esther, a sixty-year-old worker at the Dior fashion house. Esther offers Jade to share with her the most valuable thing she has - the experience of working in the world of high fashion.
