The story of former military surgeon Patrick Sumnery, who enlisted as a ship's doctor on a whaling expedition to the Arctic. On board, he meets Henry Drax, a harpooner and brutal killer. Hoping to escape the horrors of his past, Sumner finds himself on a sinister journey with a murderous psychopath. In search of redemption, his story turns into a tough struggle for survival in the arctic wastelands.
