The main character of the cartoon is Nachi, a mischievous but very kind coati. Together with his friends - the fearless monarch butterfly Xochi and the hyperactive glass frog Paco - he goes on an incredible journey. A treacherous coral snake seeks to destroy their home - the rainforest. So the friends band together to prevent this from happening.
