After a difficult divorce and the sudden death of her mother, eight-year-old Jenny moves to her father's house in Brooklyn. Father and daughter try to start a new life, but the traumas experienced leave an indelible mark on the girl. She begins to see the puppets her artist father created come to life and talk to her. Jenny lives surrounded by dark and scary visions that pull her more and more into the afterlife.
