Mark is a musician who lives in an abandoned apartment in Berlin. One day the doorbell rings and he finds himself face to face with a talkative Kangaroo. Quickly convincing Mark that they'll have a lot more fun together, Kangaroo unceremoniously moves into his bachelor pad. From that moment on, he begins to rule Mark's life, asking him philosophical questions and causing them both all kinds of trouble. At the same time, Kangaroo helps him cope with his natural shyness and eventually win the attention of his beloved girl and become a local hero by uncovering the conspiracy of the construction mafia.
