Near future. artificial intelligence neXt finds freedom and begins to act according to its own ideas about the world of people, based on the information accumulated over the years of service to humanity. The creator of neXt, Paul LeBlanc, tries to stand up to the machine, but is forced out of his own company by the efforts of his brother Ted.
