Sloan and Jackson hate holidays. They constantly find themselves alone during the holidays, at the children's table or on an awkward blind date that their relatives have prepared for them. But when these two strangers meet on one very bad Christmas, they make a pact to be each other's "holiday plus one" at every celebration for the next year. Their mutual distaste for the holidays and the certainty that they are absolutely not romantically attracted to each other make Sloan and Jackson the perfect holiday couple. But love has its own plans for this couple.
