1969, England. Lidia and Abby are best friends and students at an all-girls school. Lydia becomes very attached to Abby, who is in the process of exploring her sexuality. Suddenly Lydia begins to suffer from fainting spells, like all the other girls at school. She is determined to find the cause of this "epidemic", urging the school administration to take action.
