Not much time has passed since Luke's wife was murdered by a neighbor boy in a remote cabin in the woods, but the man brings his new passion Gail and son Josh there. The child is tormented by terrible dreams in which his dead mother appears to him, and Gail - a child psychologist with experience - tries her best to help the boy. One day, after listening to the neighbor's stories about dream catchers, Josh steals from her chest a useful thing, as he thought, to get rid of nightmares, but after that his dreams become even more realistic and scary.
