Mid 90's. John and Spanner are inseparable friends living in a provincial Scottish town. The epidemic of raves and crazy drug parties that is spreading across Britain has only a faint echo in their city. The real beat can be caught only on underground radio stations, and you can go on an exciting drug trip only at closed raves, which the British authorities have declared illegal.
