After the death of his mother, Nimue meets the young mercenary Arthur, who is busy searching for the mysterious Merlin in order to give the old man an ancient sword. While traveling with Arthur, Nimue becomes a symbol of bravery and resistance and helps organize a rebellion against King Uther's red paladins.
