The plot revolves around Victoria "Vicky" McQueen, a young working-class spy who discovers a supernatural ability to track down the seemingly immortal Charlie Manx. Manx feeds on the souls of children, so he takes what's left of them to Christmasland, a strange Christmas village set in Manx's imagination, where every day is Christmas and unhappiness is forbidden by law. Vika must defeat Manx and save his victims, while not losing her mind and becoming his victim herself.
