A Perfect World

The events of the film take place in Texas in the fall of 1963. Butch Hynes is a hardened criminal who escaped with a young hostage. A little boy, Philip, sees Butch as the father he never had. He is pursued by the Texas ranger Red Garnett, the leader of the sheriffs, who knows every path in the county. Moreover, he is familiar with the elusive Hynes, because their paths have already crossed once.
