The French countryside and the difficulties faced by small farmers. Thirty-year-old Pierre is engaged in breeding dairy cows. The most important thing in his life is the farm, his sister-veterinarian and his parents' business, which he took over. When a zoonotic epidemic breaks out in France, Pierre discovers the first signs of the disease on his farm. He cannot lose the herd under any circumstances. He has no choice but to do everything possible to save them.
