Burden

Orphan Mike Burden grew up under the patronage of members of the Ku Klux Klan. The hero falls in love with a girl and decides to leave the community. Former associates intend to take revenge on Mike, but the Reverend Kennedy, who leads an African-American congregation, takes the boy, his girlfriend and her son under his protection.
