Parents forgot one of their many children at home. It is not scary when parents go to visit neighbors. But in this story, the parents went to Paris, and Kevin stayed in America. Alone, even in his own house. Left alone, the boy was first happy, then sad, then began to think about what to do. I didn't have to be sad for long: the deserted house attracted the attention of a couple of thieves. The small owner had to invent all sorts of tricks to protect the house from bandits.
