Teenager Marty, with the help of a time machine built by his friend Professor Doc, falls from the 80s to the distant 50s. There he meets his future parents, still teenagers, and a professor friend, quite young. He disrupts the natural course of events of the past, which causes many funny and dramatic situations. The professor's own ingenuity and imagination help him overcome all obstacles and return safely to himself, in his own time.
