Veteran of the Vietnam War - John Rimbaud tired of military exploits and settled in a Buddhist monastery. But he didn't have to enjoy the peace for long: his former commander was captured, and Rambo sets out to rescue him, engaging in a desperate and unequal battle with the enemy, and at the same time exposing the corrupt American military.
