Ilovaisk will forever be part of the tragic history of the Ukrainian people. The event, which should have been a victory for our army, turned out to be the biggest failure for us. Viewers will be able to see this story from the inside, together with the "Donbas" battalion and its commander, nicknamed Bishut. The wounded man and his comrade were trapped in a city surrounded by enemy troops. Only caring local residents help the two soldiers to survive in such conditions. They will do everything possible so that Bishut and his friend can get out of the city, to a safe area. This is a real story that every Ukrainian has lived through. More details The director of the film is Ivan Tymchenko, who previously worked in this role only with the short film "I" (2018). The film starred many real soldiers and volunteers who survived the Ilovai tragedy, as well as some actors, including: Taras Kostanchuk (the real Bishut), Oleg Drach, Yevhen Lamakh, Oleksandr Mavrits. Maria Karpenko and many others. The film will be released in Ukraine on August 29, 2019.
