The famous author of crime novels Harlan Tromby celebrates his 85th birthday. The whole family gathered at the writer's estate for the holiday. It is worth saying that these are far from the most pleasant personalities, each of whom hates each other. The day after this momentous event, Harlan is found dead in his mansion. Suspects, of course, are all his relatives, as well as his former staff. Charismatic and incredibly inquisitive detective Benoit Blanc undertook to investigate this case. Probably the most complicated case in his career awaits him, because every person in the mansion could have killed the writer. And all of them are so unpleasant that it would be better not to trust anyone.
