Isabel has long since chosen what she will devote her life to - working with children in a shelter in Calcutta, India. On the other side of the Earth, in the American city of New York, lives the head of a multimillion-dollar corporation, Teresa. What could bring these two women together? Teresa's desire to donate a large sum to this shelter. To do this, Isabelle must fly halfway around the world for a meeting that can greatly help financially poor Indian children. Teresa lives in the metropolis with her charming artist husband and two adopted children.
