The beginning of the 18th century, the great Austrian Empire. An incredible story happened in its capital, the city of Vienna. A very small dark-skinned slave boy named Angelo came under the care of a noble Countess Comtesse. If it weren't for her, he would have had a very difficult life. But the countess decided to help him - the Comtesse contributed to the baptism of the boy, helped him get an education. Angelo grew up, came of age, became a handsome man and a real talisman at the Viennese court. Many began to appreciate him, and it would have been so for many, many more years, if the boy had not fallen in love with a white woman.
