This romantic and emotional story took place in Paris. The literary world of this city is full of talented authors and excellent publishers. When his old acquaintance, the controversial writer Leonar, brings another creation, it puts the publisher in an even greater stupor. The line between truth and fiction is completely blurred on these leaves, the life events of the author are recorded there, albeit with great imagination. Alain clearly does not like this idea, but his wife, theater actress Selena, convinces him that this is his ticket to success. More Olivier Assayas, whose works include "Paris, I love you" (2006), "Everyone has his own cinema" (2007), and "Zilser-Maria" (2014), became the director of the project.
