Carson Phillips was once a football player, a real star. Now he is a cool private detective. Likes to drink, smoke and play poker. Many years have passed since the man left his native state of Texas, but work still brought him back there. One woman, Jane Hunt, decided to hire Carson to investigate a seemingly ordinary case of missing persons. In that town, many people have already disappeared, which, of course, does not please the local residents. And this matter is clearly not as simple as it seems. Carson will have to untangle a whole web of lies and understand what is really happening here.
