Jim Hoffman is in big trouble - he was caught transporting a large shipment of drugs. He faces a few years in prison, but the law enforcement agencies are ready to make a deal. The fact is that they are more interested in one of the biggest drug lords in California named Morgan Hetrick. If Jim turns him in, he will be free. Since he has little choice, he will travel to this beautiful state to gather information. There, Jim will meet a unique person - John DeLorean, a car designer.
