Willy is an ordinary boy from Earth who has been exploring space with his parents for some time now. On their way home, the family got caught in a meteor shower. Mom and Dad catapulted the boy to the planet they were just passing by, which was the safest decision. Now Willy must survive the rescue operation of his parents on an unfamiliar space object all alone. The only one who will help him in this is the robot Buck. He will protect the boy from all dangers and become a true friend for him. But Buck's battery is not eternal - sooner or later it will run out, and Willy will be left alone. The boy needs to find yet another support on this planet and learn to survive without Buck's help. He will wait for his parents to return.
