Aubrey is dealing with the death of her best friend, when suddenly an invasion from a parallel dimension kills humanity, and the girl turns out to be the only survivor on Earth. Having locked herself in the apartment of a late friend, she finds audio tapes marked "Records that will save the world." In the hope of finding clues to the current state of affairs, Aubrey begins to listen to the tapes, and at this time the monsters sneak up on the heroine.
