Sixteen-year-old Laura lives with her mother and younger brother Jaco in the slums, in the backyard of a dilapidated church in New Zealand. One day, Laura has to enter into a serious fight with an ancient spirit. Slowly draining the life out of little Jaco, the demon grows younger and younger. However, Laura discovers in herself superpowers, which she will have to use to save her brother's life.
